Our Story
Our story begins in a small home in Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe, where Sasha was born. It was here that an early sensitivity to interiors and objects took shape, not through formal design, but through observation. His mother curated fabrics, blankets and wooden furniture with care, creating a sense of warmth and identity within the home. The display cabinet in the living room held a particular presence, arranged thoughtfully and admired daily. Rearranging its ornaments became an early ritual, and with it came an understanding of how objects and placement could transform a space.
Years later, arriving in Britain marked a significant shift. Sasha encountered the Georgian and Victorian homes of Knightsbridge and Mayfair and was drawn to the character and rhythm of British life. What resonated most was not spectacle, but the everyday expressions of culture — humour, heritage, family and a quiet confidence embedded within London's domestic architecture, particularly in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
A natural curiosity and love for discovery led Sasha to draw inspiration from homes across the world. His design language reflects a dialogue between British heritage and influences from Africa and the Middle East. Rooted in British culture and shaped by a respect for family, travel, fashion, innovation and exploration, each interior and furniture piece reflects an understanding of how people live, gather and express identity through their surroundings.
Over time, the studio has been entrusted with homes in Knightsbridge and beyond, working with clients across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas. Furniture designed by the studio can be found in private residences, hotels and yachts, each shaped by its context and purpose. While grounded in British craftsmanship and sensibility, the work reflects the varied interpretations of refinement encountered across different cultures.
The interior design practice remains centred on collaboration and clarity. Each project begins with the client's vision and way of living, translated into spaces that feel considered, individual and resolved.
